Nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (non prosthetic) in 2020 and a Canadian Screen Award for Best Achievement in Makeup in 2021. Lucky is known for her easy going yet sparkling personality on set as well as over 20 years experience as a makeup artist.
Her roles include being the personal makeup artist to Catherine O'Hara, Annie Murphy on the multi award winning Schitt’s Creek, Alessia Cara, and Jessi Cruickshank, as well as Key Makeup on Canada’s Drag Race S01, The Great Canadian Baking Show S01, 02, 04 and 05, The Great Chocolate Showdown, Fire Masters and The Big Bake.
Lucky's scope includes being a trainer for MAC Cosmetics for many years, a passion for creating beautiful editorial, curating an impressive clientele including both TV production and celebrity, making up models backstage at Toronto Fashion Week, painting faces at Sundance Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival, and making up the faces of many of your favourite musicians and actors/actresses during her stint as head of makeup for MTV Canada. Her artistic abilities have brought her work to not only Canada but locales such as Tel Aviv, Glasgow, Mexico City, Barcelona and of course the USA.
